The Weight Of Honor, 2017 Documentary, Progresses with Rough Cut and More...

Progress on The Weight Of Honor is moving at a steady pace thanks to our editor, Alejandro Valdes-Rochin. We’ve already completed what’s called the “rough cut” of the film, with a “through line” and wonderful elements to illustrate the stories of our veteran caregivers.

Now we’re beginning the task of adding finer details to our 2017 documentary.

MUSIC: A composer will be coming on the team to create music to accompany the story.

ANIMATIONS: Our animator, Charlie Canfield, is putting motion to the storyboards he’s already created.

STATISTICS: The statistics of the impact of veteran-caregiving on families is astounding.  We’re unleashing more statistics to include in the film so our civilian audience can get a clearer idea of what it takes to be a caregiver to our veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Veteran-caregivers are in the news more and more and you can find links to many of the articles and helpful caregiver information on our Twitter feed.

New things are happening every week… and we’ll keep you updated.

As always, we thank you for your support. Remember, you can follow us on our other social media channels and you can get updates by joining our email list, too!
