We have officially been selected to show The Weight of Honor at this year's upcoming Kansas International Film Festival, which will take place November 3-9 at the Glenwood Arts Theatre in Overland Park, Kansas.

Our First Film Festival & World Premiere
Our World Premiere at the San Antonio Film Festival was a completely different experience compared to the private screening at the DAV National Convention.
Long-term fundraising goals
As many of your know, THE WEIGHT OF HONOR team conducted a fundraising campaign last summer. With the help of our friends, fans and family, we raised over $18,000 from over 100 donors. We were so completely grateful to everyone for their support.

2017 Documentary, THE WEIGHT OF HONOR, has released a new trailer. Very few Americans are aware of the struggles of the caregivers to wounded veterans. This 2017 documentary reveals the seen and unseen burdens placed on family caregivers returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Progress on The Weight Of Honor is moving at a steady pace thanks to our editor, Alejandro Valdes-Rochin. We’ve already completed what’s called the “rough cut” of the film, with a “through line” and wonderful elements to illustrate the stories of our veteran caregivers.
